Furi-Guard antimicrobial inhibitors are integrated directly and permanently into the Gusto-Grip handles for the duration of the devising process, giving the handle an added safeguard versus microorganisms that may degrade handle materials over time! Furi Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip knives are made from the finest German CrMoV stainless steel, forged bolster, one-piece with blade and strong tang for supreme strength. The handle core is molded from ultra-tough polypropylene (PP) with an injection-molded outer layer of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE–a lasting synthetic rubber).

Pairing knife

If you are planning to replace this with one of your pairing knives that came in a furi set, do not order. The quality is not the same and it will not fit in your knife holder that furi supplies. It is ok as a knife on the side to use but not the quality that furi normally puts out. In fact the color is not even the same as it has a slightly off color handle compaired to the sets. Would I order this again. No.

I agree with other reviewers that these knives are not of the same quality as the paring knife that comes with the set, but they are also not the same price! For the price, these knives are excellent. They are very sharp and so far have kept their edge. If you are looking for a REALLY good inexpensive knife, this one will fit your needs.
